After several gruelling weeks of challenges in the kitchen, the winner of Celebrity MasterChef has been crowned after Monday night’s finale.
The three finalists, TV presenter and daughter to Gordon Ramsay, Tilly Ramsay, AFL player Nick Riewoldt and fashion designer Collette Dinnigan, went head-to-head in recreating a bizarre-looking dessert.
Created by top chef Martin Benn, the ‘Metropolis’ dessert contained several layers of difficult elements, as the contestants were given four hours to recreate the dish.
With all three cooks managing to recreate the intricate dessert, they all earned big praise from the judges.
After the judges’ deliberation, AFL star Nick Riewoldt was crowned the winner of Celebrity MasterChef, along with the coveted trophy and $100,000 going to his chosen charity.
Nick was playing for the charity called Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision, which is named after his late sister, who died in 2015 at the age of 26 from complications of a Bone Marrow Failure Syndrome called Aplastic Anaemia.

In his caption, he wrote, “Winning was never the reason for participating, BUT it does feel good to finally lift some silverware.”
He went on to thank his fellow contestants and the judges for the “most amazing experience”.
