Cassandra Thorburn has scored another gig at Network 10.

After her stint on  Dancing With The Stars (DWTS)  this season, Thorburn is set to join the network’s  Studio 10  morning breakfast  show as a regular panellist.

“I’ll be working with  Studio 10  on a more regular guest basis so that will be great,” the former journalist told  Yahoo Lifestyle.

“Cass is a friend of Studio 10 and will continue to appear as a regular guest on the show,” a Network 10 spokesperson told  Confidential.

The 47-year-old will be joining the ranks of Australia’s morning TV personalities, a slot that used to be dominated by her ex-husband Karl Stefanovic. In December, Stefanovic  left Channel 9’s  Today  after hosting the breakfast show for 14 years.

Studio 10  airs on weekday mornings, overlapping with rival programs  Today  and Seven’s  Sunrise.

The mother-of-three previously worked across a number of newsrooms, including at the ABC,  Sunrise,  Mornings with Kerri-Anne  and  Today.

DWTS  was Thorburn’s first appearance on TV since her split with Stefanovic in 2016. She finished her run on the competition on Monday following her elimination alongside dance partner Marco de Angelis.

When the  Sydney Morning Herald  asked Thorburn about the possibility of her becoming the next  Bachelorette  on the same network, she replied, “How funny would that be?”
