Infamous Porsche driver Richard Pusey is believed to be behind an anti-police account on social media which has garnered widespread condemnation.

The Instagram account is called ‘The Richard Pusey Show’ with a description of himself, “the Porsche Driver” and “the perfect person for the resulting blame game”.

Posts include images of the wrecked police car which he claimed police were about to put him in before it was hit in the Eastern Freeway crash, as well as his destroyed Porsche.

“As I understand it, I believe the police were about to place me into that car. If that was to be the case then the car depicted herein would’ve been my coffin,” the caption belonging to the photo of the police car read.

“So many flawed procedures. Those four officers were just sent to their deaths.”

Prior to the crash, Pusey had been pulled over for speeding. Truck driver Mohinder Singh – who was under the influence at the time – veered from the freeway and killed four police officers standing in the emergency lane.

Former Victoria Police Chief Commissioner Kel Glare told The Herald Sun that the posts were “absolutely disgusting”, having disturbed the families of the deceased officers.

“It’s absolutely disgusting. I don’t know how he can get away with these sorts of things. The man needs help there’s no doubt about that,” he said.

“The pain he is causing relatives of the (Eastern Freeway) victims is beyond anything that is acceptable. Something needs to be done to muzzle him.”

Instagram users have also shared their criticism of the posts in the comments, labelling him a “muppet” and a “whack job”.

The same handle has also been used on TikTok and Twitter, where Pusey shared his frustration that he wasn’t refunded for his totaled Porsche.

“These guys don’t pay out,” a post about Prestige Motors read.

Earlier this month, the 43-year-old was released on bail but prohibited from returning to his home suburb of Fitzroy, after it was alleged he smeared cat litter and faeces around his neighbour’s home.

He is due to appear at the Neighbourhood Justice Centre in March next year over stalking charges.
