Former tennis star Anna Kournikova is reportedly expecting her fourth child with singer Enrique Iglesias, just months after sparking concern for her health.

Kournikova, once one of the most captivating and talked-about figures in sport, has largely retreated from the spotlight since retiring in 2003.

The 44-year-old was voted the world’s sexiest woman at the height of her fame but has since been seen only rarely in public.

In early 2025, fans were shocked when Kournikova appeared in a wheelchair after not being spotted for two years.

She was seen again more recently, walking freely while taking her children to martial arts class in South Florida.

Now, according to Spanish publication Hola, the former tennis star is preparing to welcome another baby.

The outlet reports she is around halfway through her pregnancy.

A source close to the family told Hola that things are progressing well.

Kournikova and Iglesias already share three children, twins Lucy and Nicholas, seven, and daughter Mary, five.

Since stepping away from tennis at just 21, Kournikova has kept her personal life private.

During her career, she reached world number one in doubles, capturing 16 titles including the 1999 Australian Open alongside Martina Hingis. In singles, she never claimed a title but did reach the Wimbledon semi-final in 1997.

Kournikova began dating Iglesias in 2001 after appearing in his music video for Escape. The pop star, now 50, continues to tour globally, while Kournikova remains largely out of the public eye.

At the height of her fame, the Russian athlete also carved out a modelling career and was voted the world’s sexiest woman in 2002, topping the likes of Britney Spears and Jennifer Lopez.

In 2010, she was again recognised as the sexiest female tennis player of all time.

Despite her low profile, news of Kournikova’s pregnancy has reignited global interest in the elusive former tennis sensation.
