The NRL community has rallied around Penrith Panthers co-captain Isaah Yeo, congratulating him after he married his long-time partner Ashleigh in a gorgeous ceremony on the NSW south coast.

Yeo proposed during a holiday in Switzerland in 2022, and the couple officially tied the knot on Wednesday.

Ashleigh wore a white off-the-shoulder, floor-length gown, with the pair sharing photos of their wedding at Byron Bay’s Fig Tree estate on social media.

Their three young children – Haven, Lennox and Tatum – were part of the celebrations.

Messages of support quickly flowed from across the rugby league world.

“Congrats fam,” Panthers star Nathan Cleary wrote on Instagram.

Reece Walsh added, “Congratulations guys”.

James Maloney’s wife, Jess, commented, “Congratulations guys. Absolutely stunning.”

Dylan Edwards’ wife, Nadine, wrote, “You are so beautiful! Looks like the most perfect day. I love you guys so much”.

Penrith players Brian To’o, Scott Sorensen, Mitch Kenny, Matt Eisenhuth and Edwards also offered their congratulations.

Yeo’s wedding continues a trend of NRL players marking major personal milestones during the off-season.

Broncos forward Xavier Willison became engaged to his partner Tayla earlier this month, with the couple’s young daughter helping with the beachfront proposal.

Off-contract Cronulla prop Braden Hamlin-Uele also proposed to his partner Chenille in a waterside setting, receiving an enthusiastic yes.

“I consider myself the luckiest man alive that you are the first person I see to start my day and the last person I see to end my day,” Hamlin-Uele wrote in a social-media post announcing the engagement.

Meanwhile, new Knights recruit Dylan Brown and Panthers winger Brian To’o both recently welcomed newborns.
