An anti-masker who travelled outside Melbourne’s lockdown zone to get her nails done has defended her actions and has not yet been fined by police.

Lizzy Rose, nicknamed “Karen from Bunnings 2.0” made headlines on Monday after refusing to wear a face mask at a Bunnings store amid the coronavirus crisis.

She claims she was once a medic and has posted videos to social media throwing face masks into a fire while ranting about “draconian laws”.

Rose has since bragged about travelling outside the lockdown zone after she headed to Romsey to get her nails done.

When told by 7NEWS the travel was a breach of the Chief Health Officers orders, she disagreed.

“No, because I’ve got a letter that states that I can travel because I’m studying,” she said.

Victoria Police has not stated if she is currently under investigation, but continue to issue fines.

Rose’s mask burning videos was shared only a few days before she confronted staff at the hardware store over the mandatory use of face masks in their store.

“We’ll be approaching the counter now to see if they’ll accept my money,” she says in the video.

“Remember this is about being a cashless society and there’s a whole other agenda here, so let’s see what happens to the system of corruption.”
