"Welcome home, Harold": Iconic Neighbours actor returns to Ramsay Street

Princess Diana's niece secretly welcomes first child

Miranda Kerr welcomes "little ray of sunshine"

<p>Miranda Kerr has welcomed her fourth child with Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel. </p> <p>The 40-year-old supermodel gave birth to a baby boy named Pierre Kerr Spiegel on Sunday, February 18, but announced the news of her new bub's arrival ten days later.</p> <p>"We are overjoyed by the arrival of our little ray of sunshine, Pierre Kerr Spiegel," she wrote in a statement posted on Snapchat. </p> <p>"We couldn’t be more excited to welcome our fourth son into our family. <p>Travel experts at booking.com have shared the top ten most welcoming cities in the world for 2024. </p> <p>In their 12th edition of of the Traveller Review Awards, booking.com shared their picks for the most inviting countries, giving eager travellers new destinations to add to their 2024 holiday bucket list. </p> <p>To determine what cities made the list, nooking.com used more than 309 million verified customer reviews from their site, with the frontrunners of the list boasting exceptional hospitality in all areas. </p> <p>Coming in at the coveted first place is Arraial d’Ajuda in Brazil: a charming beach town known for its calm and serene atmosphere.</p> <p>According to Booking.com’s report, Arraial d’Ajuda is the perfect destination for 67% of travellers who want to rest and recharge when traveling. </p> <p>One small Aussie town made the list, with Daylesford, Victoria coming in at the number four spot. </p> <p>The sleepy but lovely town in the foothills of the Great Dividing Range offers plenty of nature nearby to explore for those looking to switch off. </p> <p>With classic Aussie pubs, great local food, fun shops to explore, and welcoming residents, it's an ideal weekend getaway spot.</p> <p>Check out the entire top 10 list below. </p> <p>1. Gogglebox star welcomes baby girl

<p><em>Gogglebox </em>star Isabelle Silbery has welcomed her first child with husband Alex Richards.</p> <p>The TV personality, who is already a mum to a nine-year-old son from a previous marriage, took to Instagram to announce the good news over the weekend. </p> <p>"RUBY EMILY RICHARDS," the 38-year-old wrote captioned, revealing her newborn's name. </p> <p>"The female body is truly incredible. My daughter is here and the experience was grounding and empowering' she continued. </p> <p>She then thanked her husband, and said: "so honoured to see you become a besotted father." </p> <p>"I'm hormonal and in a love bubble," she concluded. </p> <p>Isabelle shared a few photos of her cradling her baby girl in the hospital bed as her husband looked fondly at them. </p> <p>Fellow <em>Gogglebox</em> co-stars and fans took to the comments to congratulate the couple on the new addition to their family. </p> <p>"Congratulations on the safe arrival of Ruby Emily Richards, hope everything went well Izzy, welcome to the father’s club Alex, cheers 👍🍺" wrote co-stars Lee and Keith. </p> <p>"The best!!!! <p>A fan favourite couple from the 2023 season of <em>Farmer Wants a Wife</em> have announced some heartwarming family news. </p> <p>Brad Jones and Clare Hockings took to Instagram to announce the birth of their first child together. </p> <p>“Roy Grahame Jones has arrived,” Brad, 32, wrote in the caption.</p> <p>Their announcement was flooded with well wishes for the new parents and baby Roy, with the post racking up almost 10,000 likes. </p> <p>Their fellow <em>Farmer Wants a Wife</em> contestant David McMahon shared a comment for the couple, writing, "Very happy for you both! Woolworths impresses customers with welcome "treat"

<p>Woolworths have given their customers a reason to smile after giving shoppers an unexpected offer. </p> <p>The supermarket giant has been praised for a simple but thoughtful gesture to customers trying to beat the heat while doing groceries. </p> <p>On a particularly hot day, a Woolworths store put bins of ice and bottles of water by the entrance for shoppers to take, with no charge. </p> <p>"Dear customers, we are in for a warm day. Stay safe and hydrated. Please enjoy a bottle of cold water from the store team," read signs attached to tubs at the shop.</p> <p>The small but significant gesture didn't go unnoticed by grateful shoppers, with one customer sharing a photo of the freebies on Facebook and describing it as a "great idea".</p> <p>Another shopper agreed, commenting, "As it was 40°C in Adelaide today, cold water would have been a treat."</p> <p>"Can grab some apples for the kids and a bottle of water," added someone else, referencing the free fruit for children also offered by the retailer.</p> <p>A spokesperson from Woolworths shared with <a href="https://au.news.yahoo.com/woolworths-stuns-with-unexpected-offer-for-customers-085030601.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><em>Yahoo News Australia</em></a> that this offer embodies a commitment to acts of kindness that are encouraged among the retailer's network of supermarkets.</p> <p>"Our store teams try and bring a little good to our customers every day," the spokesperson said.</p> <p>Not everyone was impressed by the generous offer, however, including a critic who suggested that what the supermarket was "really saying is that there's no air conditioning in their store".</p> <p>Others were also quick to comment that while the bottles of water were a nice offer, what would really help them would be a reduction in soaring grocery prices as the cost of living crisis continues. </p> <p><em>Image credits: Facebook / Shutterstock</em></p>

<p>Gordon Ramsay is a father-of-six!</p> <p>The 57-year-old celebrity chef took to Instagram to announce the heartwarming news that his wife Tana, 49, had given birth to an adorable baby boy. </p> <p>"What an amazing birthday present please welcome Jesse James Ramsay, 7lbs 10oz whopper!!" he captioned the photo of him kissing his newborn on the head, while his wife cradled him in her arms. </p> <p>"One more bundle of love to the Ramsay brigade!! 3 boys, 3 girls…. Done," Ramsay added. </p> <p>In a few other photos, Tana is seen glowing with happiness as she held baby Jesse in her arms. </p> <p>Tana also took to Instagram to share that their family had been "blessed" with baby Jesse's arrival. </p> <p>"It's been a nerve wracking 9 months but we've made it and we have been blessed with this little bundle," she began. </p> <p>"Ramsay family definitely complete. <p>In an exciting family update for Princess Kate, her brother James Middleton and his wife Alizee Thevenet have welcomed their first child. </p> <p>The couple were spotted pushing a pram around London on Tuesday, according to the <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-12675009/James-Middleton-Alizee-Thevenet-welcome-baby.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><em>Daily Mail</em>.</a> </p> <p>The pair are already getting into the groove of things as James was spotted pushing the pram with a cup of coffee in hand and a backpack carrying all of his essentials as they walked down the streets of Nottingham Hill.</p> <p>Alizee rocked a makeup free look, with a coffee in one hand and a shopping bag on the other. Sam Newman encourages Aussies to boo during Welcome to Country

<p>Sam Newman has caused a stir after he encouraged Aussies to boo during the Welcome to Country acknowledgement at the upcoming AFL Grand Final.</p> <p>The sporting legend, who staunchly opposes the Yes vote, told <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/afl/article-12538667/Sam-Newman-welcome-country-boo-AFL-grand-final.html?ito=social-facebook_Australia&fbclid=IwAR16kiBQgzp8PA53n2TtbysHYzk7AiC2jg_SLelrmeqsplqeUnvuELevJls" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><em>Daily Mail Australia</em></a> that the traditional ceremony was being used for political power, and everyday Aussies shouldn't be forced to listen to it at events. </p> <p>“If we are at all serious about the Welcome to Country and the nonsense that has suddenly taken over in the last 20 years from a completely harmless introduction by Ernie Dingo some years ago and people have latched onto it,” he told the publication. </p> <p>“What about this, next time you go to a public event like the Grand Final or a football game or any public event in an auditorium and they trot out the Welcome to Country, start booing … or slow hand clapping.”</p> <p>Newman, a white Australian, also mentioned that he believes many First Nations Australians share his views on the ceremony.</p> <p>“Of course it’s being rude, and so who is forcing this nonsense onto us?” he continued. </p> <p>“Who is telling us that we should be welcomed to (the) country that we live in, that we try and cohabitate, cohabit with all the people that have come here – particularly the Indigenous people."</p> <p>“There’s so many people who say it and I keep saying it’s just a push for reparations and financial power. It is, and I’m saying, the next time you go to a football game, a final, and they trot this nonsense out just start booing and that’ll stop (it)."</p> <p>Senator Lidia Thorpe was one of many people who lashed out at Newman's comments, as she spoke to Karl Stefanovic on <em>Today</em> to explain the purpose of the Welcome to Country. </p> <div id="story-primary" data-area="story-primary"> <p>“We all are on stolen land, there has never been a treaty, and a Welcome to Country is a way to bring people along on an understanding of the country that you are all living on,” the independent Senator said.</p> <p>“It’s about peace and the whole message behind a Welcome to Country is about respect and bringing people together.
