Grant Denyer serenades one of Australia's oldest Deal or No Deal contestants

<p>In the latest feelgood episode of <em>Deal or No Deal</em>, 94-year-old contestant  Phyllis Goldsack was given the chance to win $100,000. </p> <p>As one of the oldest contestants on the show, Phyllis kept everyone entertained as she challenged the banker.</p> <p>In one particularly sweet moment, game show host Grant Denyer serenaded her with a special song.</p> <p>A clip of the moment was shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, with the caption: "We're not crying, you're crying,"  and the crying emoji. </p> <p>"Okay the deal is, if I serenade you, with the song of your choosing, you get $800 from my pocket," Grant told Phyllis in the show. </p> <p>The audience were touched when Phyllis revealed that her late husband only ever sang her one song when he proposed, <em style="font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Oxygen, Ubuntu, Cantarell, 'Open Sans', 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif;">You Are My Sunshine.</em></p> <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"> <p dir="ltr" lang="en">We're not crying, you're crying! 😭<a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/DealOrNoDealAU?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#DealOrNoDealAU</a> 6.00 Weeknights on <a href="https://twitter.com/Channel10AU?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@channel10au</a> and 10 Play. <a href="https://t.co/CVR0M5rq7y">pic.twitter.com/CVR0M5rq7y</a></p> <p>— Deal Or No Deal Australia (@DealOrNoDealAUS) <a href="https://twitter.com/DealOrNoDealAUS/status/1756942546767339956?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">February 12, 2024</a></p></blockquote> <p><span style="font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Oxygen, Ubuntu, Cantarell, 'Open Sans', 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif;">"Should we do it one more time maybe?" Keith Urban movingly serenades sick woman in hospital: “My biggest fan”

<p>Some dedicated nurses caring for a terminally ill young woman recently put a call out on social media to see if country music star Keith Urban could possibly visit his “#1 fan” to give her her “dying wish".</p> <p>Marissa English had tickets to Urban’s Ohio, US, concert on Thursday but sadly couldn’t attend as her condition had deteriorated and was confined to her hospital bed in the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at the St. Vincent Medical Centre, Toledo. </p> <p>The 25-year-old was born with an inoperable cyst on her brain, cerebral palsy and severe scoliosis, reported local Toledo news station <em><a rel="noopener" href="http://www.wtol.com/2018/10/18/mercy-nurses-start-social-media-campaign-hopes-bring-keith-urban-hospitalized-fan/?fbclid=IwAR1Q3U2AHFg73juv0Dt1ZFTC9VYYz5vgmL41Te4oqT2OBDxK9Xh6eBStN9s" target="_blank">WTOL-11</a></em>.</p> <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"> <p dir="ltr"><a href="https://twitter.com/KeithUrban?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@KeithUrban</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/mercy_health?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@mercy_health</a> Keith will be in Toledo for a concert tomorrow (10/18). Codding thought the visit "would mean the world to her".</p> <p>Amazingly, Urban answered the call, stopping by the hospital en route to his performance that night. 92-year-old serenades wife at 50th anniversary party

<p>After 50 years of marriage, 92-year-old Harvey Wosika still knows how to romance his wife and has sweetly serenaded her with a love song on their golden anniversary.</p> <p>The couple celebrated 50 years of marriage with 150 friends and family on August 7, two days after their anniversary date, at the Newkirk Senior Citizens Centre in Oklahoma.</p> <p>At the celebrations, Harvey surprised everyone by getting down on one knee and singing <span>Bing Crosby's classic </span>“Let Me Call You Sweetheart” to his long time love, Mildred.</p> <p>“He’s full of surprises sometimes,” 90-year-old Mildred told The Huffington Post. “I thought, ‘Oh my! Isn’t that wonderful?’ I loved it.”</p> <p>Harvey and Mildred wed back in 1966, after their children introduced the two.</p> <p>“God brought us together,” Mildred said. “We both were divorced. It just seemed like we hit it off. Our kids got along together real well.”</p> <p>The pair have 11 children between the two of them, as well as 35 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.</p> <p>What's the most romantice gesture your spouse has surprised you with? Musicians serenade passengers stuck on a plane for six hours

<p>Being stuck in an aeroplane cabin is a tricky situation. Not only are you dealing with an incubator of stress and anxiety, but it can be incredibly boring. However, for one lucky flight grounded in Chicago, the experience was a rather pleasant one.</p> <p>Frustrated airline passengers were treated to an impromptu concert by a Haitian band while they were stuck on a plane for six hours.</p> <p>Lakou Mizik is a collection of multi-cultural musicians who formed a band in the wake the earthquakes in Haiti, and were touring North America. According to their <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong><a href="https://www.facebook.com/LakouMizik/" target="_blank">Facebook page</a></strong></span>, Lakou Mizik blends "Troubadou, Vodou, Rara and Rap into a deeply danceable bouyon of modern roots music." </p> <p>The result is quite a lively, yet authentically tropical beat.
