I continued to face it."

“And today while I quietly smile about how far I’ve come, I wanted to share this quite personal post with you because I know that it will resonate with many people still trying to conceal and wear their masks.”

Chezzi’s followers were stunned by the raw honesty of the post, with many thanking her for helping them to feel less alone.

“Thank you for sharing so vulnerably,” one follower wrote.

“I just know being open about your experience will help others feel less alone and will hopefully help someone to take that first step to ask for help. Thank you. Just thank you.”

"We did it. We survived": Chezzi Denyer's emotional revelation about baby girl

Chezzi Denyer is celebrating a "huge leap" made by her youngest daughter Sunday.

Sunday, 2, was diagnosed with hip dysplasia when she was a baby and had to wear a hip brace for nine months.

Hip dysplasia occurs when a hip joint doesn't develop properly, and if left untreated can damage the joint over time which causes hip pain and arthritis.

Now, almost a year after getting her hip brace, Sunday is running around "unstoppable," and her proud mum took to Instagram to share the highs and lows of the past year.

She began the post by encouraging parents who are experiencing a similar diagnosis to "hang in there."

"The nights are long and the days even longer when you’re got a baby in a brace or a spica cast," she continued.

"It’s absolute torment seeing your baby in pain or uncomfortable. You think you won’t be able to cope.

"The lack of sleep. The constant discomfort. The lump in your throat when you encourage your baby to go in for another procedure. Another general anaesthetic. The fear you feel in the pit of your stomach. Trying to keep your eyes on the end goal.

"You need to be strong for them.

"The heat of the cast. The pressure points. The dry sore skin you massage and moisturise where you can. And the mess. The spica cast mess and the smell…" she wrote.

She then listed all of the medical appointments, procedures and tests they had to go through for the past year and how challenging it was having to adjust.

“Adapting and changing your entire life for an indefinite period can be paralysing - New prams, specially created car seats, cots, mattresses, high-chairs, specially made clothes, nappies, accessories, activities.

“Having to stop work, take leave, giving up daycare with little hope of getting your days back down the track, not being able to travel easily, having to sacrifice activities with older kids, nursing your toddler for hours unable to do much else, trying to keep them occupied when they can’t move and they’re bored… all of these might seem trivial to someone on the outside...

“But when you’re in it, every single thing you know or you’ve learnt or even want to do must change to accommodate your hippy baby, and that too can be terrifying," she added.

She also shared how "hard and tiring and stressful and scary" it was to take care of not only your baby, but yourself, and encouraged other parents to feel and express these emotions when they can.

The wife of former Sunrise weather presenter Grant Denyer also expressed her gratitude towards all the mums that have helped her throughout this journey.

“I remember so many experienced parents telling me that their child once was in a cast or a brace and how they remember the time well.

“Many of those kind-hearted parents telling me their child now runs or dances etc and you wouldn’t even know… and when I was deep in it, it felt like that was a lifetime away.

“But here we are, one year on from getting the rhino brace on, and little Sunday is running around unstoppable.”

Although Sunday is "not out of the woods" yet as she will need an operation or two when she is around four years old, the mum of three couldn't help but express how proud she was.

“I am celebrating this milestone with so much pride. I’m so proud of her. She’s incredibly resilient.. but I’m also proud of me. We did it. We survived.

“We have come out the other side and we are stronger for it. And I hope that can help some other parents either going through this or about to. Xxx,” her post ended.

Images: Instagram

"Embarrassed": Andy Murray's hilarious daughter revelation

It seems that while the world showers him with praise at Wimbledon, UK tennis great Andy Murray's own flesh and blood knows just how to bring him back down to earth.

In a pre-Wimbledon press conference, the former champ shared a delightful tale about his seven-year-old daughter, Sophia. Brace yourself for cuteness overload.

“My eldest daughter is aware, now, of what I do, but I don’t think she really sees it as a good thing,” he said, according to talkSPORT.

“I think she gets more embarrassed by it, to be honest. We went to pick her up from school on Friday, and she will never properly acknowledge me at the school gates or around the other kids at school."

Naturally, Andy was baffled by little Sophia's reaction and demanded an explanation later that evening.

“I asked her that night, ‘Why wouldn't you give me a hug at school today?’ She said, ‘Because people know you. You’re number 39 in tennis or something!’

“She doesn’t see it as a cool thing. It is more embarrassing.”

It seems little Sophia doesn't see her dad's tennis prowess as cool or impressive. Quite the opposite. She finds it utterly cringeworthy.

To add to the hilarity, Sophia has adopted a rather unconventional approach when referring to her dad in front of her friends. Instead of a simple "dad," she nonchalantly drops the name "Andy Murray" like it's the punchline of a joke.

Moving on to more serious matters, Murray faced a monumental challenge in his second-round match against Greek sensation Stefanos Tsitsipas (at least, at the time of writing, it was still going, with the match suspended due to curfew).

But let's not forget Murray's triumphant first-round victory over fellow Brit Ryan Peniston. In a display of dominance, he dispatched his compatriot in straight sets, all while being observed by the illustrious Princess of Wales and the legendary Roger Federer from the Royal Box.

With his daughter keeping him grounded and his tennis skills on display, Murray is surely experiencing quite the rollercoaster at Wimbledon. Who knows what other humorous anecdotes will come to light during his epic journey? One thing's for certain: Sophia won't let him forget how "embarrassing" he can be, even as a global tennis star.

Images: Instagram / Resurfacing

King Charles cuts ties with TV host over affair revelations

King Charles has cut all ties with UK television host Phillip Schofield, after he lied about having an affair.

Schofield has been dumped from his hosting gig at This Morning, which he has been the face of for 21 years, after he admitted he had an affair with a much younger man who worked at the ITV network.

The 61-year-old resigned from the network after lying about the “consensual on-off relationship", admitting in a statement that the affair was "unwise" but stressed it was "not illegal".

He added that he was "deeply sorry" for having lied to his wife and to ITV about his relationship with the man reportedly 30 years his junior and who he first met as a teenager.

“Contrary to speculation, whilst I met the man when he was a teenager and was asked to help him to get into television, it was only after he started to work on the show that it became more than just a friendship,” he said in his recent statement.

In light of the affair, Schofield has been dropped by The Prince's Trust, after being an ambassador for several years.

A spokesperson from the King's charity told The Telegraph UK that it was mutually agreed it was "no longer appropriate to work together".

"In light of Phillip's recent admissions, we have agreed with him that it is no longer appropriate to work together," a Prince's Trust spokesperson said.

All references to Schofield have been removed from the charity's website and also his own page.

It previously read, "Outside of work, Phillip is an ambassador for the charity The Prince's Trust, dedicating time to further the work of supporting vulnerable young people in the UK".

The Prince's Trust was created in 1976 by then-Prince Charles to help young disadvantaged people in the UK, with the hugely successful charity helping more than one million young people by providing them with business grants, education and training.

Following the bombshell revelation of Schofield's affair, ITV said it had investigated the allegations of his affair "several times" from early 2020, but said it didn't find any evidence.

It's been a trying time for the ex-presenter with his brother Timothy recently being jailed for 12 years over child sex offences.

Kochie shocked at co-host’s revelation

Sunrise host Monique Wright has left her co-hosts, Natalie Barr and David Koch, visibly shocked after revealing the “appalling” situation she was in.

On Thursday, Wright told her co-hosts that she is among the “desperate” Aussies struggling to secure a home, after a segment on rentals.

“We've recently been looking, and we've looked at 30 properties,” Wright shared.

“Wow,” her co-hosts exclaimed in sync.

“'It is appalling. It is so appalling,” she continued amid their gasps.

“You see it. People are desperate. We've been desperate,” Wright added to which Barr agreed that the rental crisis is affecting everyone “at every price point”.

Kochie sat in visible shock throughout the whole conversation, and was only able to respond with “amazing”.

According to Domain, Australia’s national vacancy rate remained 0.8 per cent in February, but the vacancy rates across the combined capital has declined to 0.7 per cent.

In Sydney and Melbourne, vacancies have declined below 1 per cent to 0.9 per cent and 0.8 per cent, respectively.

Perth and Adelaide have the tightest rental market at just 0.3 per cent.

This comes after many families are struggling to find a home and are forced to sleep in tents.

Shocking images of landlords attempting to benefit off this crisis have also gone viral, whether it’s advertising a shed as a three bedroom rental, or renting out balconies for $300 a week.

Chief executive officer of the Tenants' Union of New South Wales, Leo Patterson Ross told the Daily Mail that although the economic circumstances were vastly different 90 years ago, rental conditions are now worse than the Great Depression in the 1930s.

“We have to go back that far because we haven't seen this kind of widespread general experience of the system going wrong,” he said.

Image: Sunrise

The three biggest revelations from Harry and Meghan's documentary

The first instalment of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's docuseries has been released, with the couple dropping major bombshells about life in the royal family.

The first half of the series has largely revolved around the beginning of the couple's relationship and Meghan joining the royal family, while also touching on the first few dramatic encounters with paparazzi.

Here's the biggest revelations from the series so far.

Meghan meeting the royal family

Meghan spoke of the first time she met Prince William and Kate Middleton, sharing how she didn't realise the level of formality the royal family carried outside of official engagements.

She said, “Even when Will and Kate came over and I met her for the first time, I was in ripped jeans and I was barefoot."

“I’m a hugger I’ve always been a hugger. I didn’t know that could be jarring for a lot of Brits.”

“I guess I started to understand very quickly that the formality out on the outside, carried through on on the inside.

“That there is a forward facing way of being then you close the door and you go phew, great we can relax now."

“But that formality continues on both sides and that was surprising to me.”

Meghan and Harry also shared details of Meghan's first meeting with the late Queen Elizabeth, with Harry admitting the situation was "weird".

He said, “(Meghan) had no idea what it all consisted of, so it was a bit of a shock to the system for her,” he said.

“How do you explain (to people) to bow to your grandma? And that they’ll need to curtsy? Especially to an American – it’s weird.”

Meghan described the “surreal” and unexpected moment she realised she’d be meeting the monarch, and that it had been sprung on her at the last minute by her then-boyfriend.

“We were in the car and we were going to Royal Lodge for lunch and he goes, ‘Oh, my grandmother’s here – she’s going to be there after church’,” she recalled.

“And I remember in the car driving up, he says, ‘you know how to curtsy right?’ And I thought it was a joke.”

“I didn’t know what I was doing,” she admitted.

Harry's warning to Meghan about the paparazzi

During the early days of Harry and Meghan's relationship, Meghan was still living in Canada and working as an actress when she encountered a pack of “9 or 10” paparazzi as she left a florist.

“They were all sort of blocking the cars, going, ‘Hey, how you doing, Meghan?’, and I said ‘Oh, thanks, stay warm guys,’” the Duchess of Sussex recalled.

The next day, she’d gotten a very strict instruction from her new boyfriend to ignore paparazzi from then on.

“I remember (Harry) saying the next day, ‘You can’t talk to them’,” Meghan said.

“And I was like, ‘I’m just trying to be pleasant, I don’t know what to do, I’ve never dealt with this before’, and he said, ‘Yes, but the UK media is saying you love it. You’re smiling. You love it.”

Harry then likened the treatment of Meghan by the paparazzi to how Princess Diana was also treated, making him very concerned for his wife.

"The majority of my memories are of her [Diana] being swarmed by paparazzi," he says.

Harry made several comparisons with his wife and Diana, saying "To see another woman in my life go through this feeding frenzy.. That's hard. It is really the hunter vs the prey".

The couple felt they had to lie in their engagement interview

When the couple got engaged in 2017, they had a sit-down interview on the BBC to discuss their milestone, which the Sussexes have now revealed was completely "rehearsed".

Meghan called the interview an "orchestrated reality show", saying they "weren't allowed" to tell their true story when faced with questions about their relationship.

Earlier on in the docuseries, they shared how they first began talking on Instagram before meeting for their first date, but were forced to change their story for the BBC chat.

The second and final instalment of the docuseries will air on December 15th.

Carrie’s shocking revelation as she roasts cohosts

Carrie Bickmore has slammed her male co-hosts after they joked about a Canadian news reporter for being fired just because she had grey hair.

Lisa LaFlamme, 58, announced she would be leaving the CTV National News presenter and said she was “blindsided” and left “shocked and saddened” by the allegedly sudden decision to end her contract.

The company rejected claims that LaFlamme was let go from her job because of her grey hair and that she would instead be replaced by a younger male.

The Project co-host, who is only 35, was speaking about the issue to the rest of the panel before revealing that she is in fact “fully grey” under her blonde locks.

However, comedian Peter Helliar went a step too far saying that he hoped burger chain Wendy would remove any grey hairs found in their food after changing their red-headed girl in their logo to grey.

A shocked Carrie snapped saying this isn’t a problem for males who are able to continue their day-to-day jobs without worrying about ageing.

“Is that what you’ve taken out of this story? You guys don’t have to worry about this, do you?” she asked.

Her co-host Waleed Aly then teased asking if there was something Carrie wanted to say to which she responded: “I’m fully grey under here”.

Aly pointed out that grey hair appeared to be less acceptable in the US and Canada but the UK, where Carrie had a three month stint at, was more open about it.

“Yes, I did notice that in the UK. I’ll move there and do it!” she said.

Images: Ten

Benji Marshall's stunning revelations

Benji Marshall did not leave one dry eye in the house – nor for anyone looking on at home – in the latest episode of Celebrity Apprentice as he opened up about his troubled past.

When the former NRL player was required to pitch a TV series idea as part of the Celebrity Apprentice challenge, Benji became very emotional when putting forward his idea for a documentary about his life.

“I’ve never, ever talked about this publicly,” Benji told the on-screen TV executives.

“I’ve never talked about this because it means so much to me.

“No one knows the real me… because I don’t even know the real me, there’s half of me I haven’t found out about.

“I don’t know my dad, I don’t know my culture, I don’t know my nationality.”

He teared up saying that he wanted someone to help save him after suffering through a traumatic childhood.
<blockquote class="instagram-media" style="background: #FFF; "I was ready to quit": Jess Rowe and Peter Overton's big revelations

Jess Rowe and her husband Peter Overton left no secret untold on the latest episode of her podcast The Jess Rowe Big Talk Show.

The popular TV personalities tied the knot in 2004 and share two daughters Allegra, 15, and Giselle, 12.

On her podcast, the pair spoke for 52 minutes about being “desperate” to be parents, IVF, depression and their respective careers.

Suffering from polycystic ovaries (PCOS), a condition that affects a woman’s fertility, Jess and Peter were not able to fall pregnant easily and had to resort to IVF.

"I think we did four attempts and it wasn't easy," Peter revealed on the podcast.

"Going through IVF there would be times you'd feel hopeless and your spirits would be so low because you think this is never going to happen for us and both of us desperately wanted to be parents,” Jess added.

After three unsuccessful rounds, Jess fell pregnant and gave birth to their daughter Allegra in 2007 while their second daughter Giselle was conceived naturally.

However, it was too overwhelming for Jess who struggled with post-natal depression after Allegra’s birth.

"I felt like a failure when I had postnatal depression. I was so ashamed. I felt I had to hide it from you and I had to hide it from everyone because I felt like I was letting our brand-new family down,” she revealed.

Peter’s response was phenomenal. He stood by his wife and took her to the doctors and a psychiatrist, who eventually prescribed her anti-depressants.

Before falling pregnant, Jess was contemplating leaving her job as co-host of The Today Show alongside Karl Stefanovic.

It even reached the point that Peter was ready to quit the same network over the way his wife was being treated.

"I was ready to quit Channel Nine because I was so upset at the way you were treated. You said to me, 'We've got a mortgage to pay buster, don't make a stupid decision’,” he said.

Jess, however, spoke some sense into him saying it would be a “disaster” if they both quit their jobs.

The network at one point also offered the couple the opportunity to host the show together which was out of the question.

"I remember them also saying, 'Oh, maybe you and Jessica could host the show together?' I said, 'You're kidding me? You're going to ruin two careers, ruin a marriage and ruin a program in one hit? No thank you,'" Peter recalled.

Despite the challenges, both Jess and Peter agree that it brought them closer and made them stronger.

"You've really brought me out as a person. When I met you, I think my world was very narrow, and then I entered your orbit and, holy smoke, it was different," Peter said.

Image: Instagram

The Block star’s worrying revelation

Block contestant Josh Packham has revealed he has tested positive for COVID-19 after a trip to Melbourne. In a video posted to Instagram, the reality star urged the many people he encountered during his trip to get tested immediately.

Packham, who competed on the most recent season of The Block with his twin brother Luke, had travelled from Sydney to Melbourne last week to watch Luke compete in a celebrity boxing match.

In the video, Packham said it was “no surprise” he’d been diagnosed with COVID-19 following the trip, saying, “I just got my results back and no surprises guys, I’m positive. Obviously it sucks that I’m not spending Christmas with family and friends, but I do have my roommate isolating with me, so we’re doing it together.”

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by Josh Packham (@packham_pear)

He said that he wasn’t feeling too sick, just dealing with a “bit of a cough, bit of a head cold”, and was hoping to be freed from isolation by New Years. He went on to encourage anyone he interacted with in Melbourne to get tested, saying, “Obviously, I came in contact with a lot of friends while I was in Melbourne. So if you’re watching this, probably go get tested immediately, guys. Don’t muck around with it. There was obviously a lot of people when I was in Melbourne coming up to say hi, which is completely fine – but yeah, you should probably go get tested straight away, if you’re watching this.

“If you do want to spend Christmas with your family, it’s probably best to keep your distance from people you’re not really close with, and keep that close circle as small as possible. Chances are you will catch it, because it’s running rampant through Sydney and Melbourne right now. If you want to spend Chrissy with your family, just do the right thing.”

Numerous reality stars competed at the event alongside Luke, including The Bachelorette stars Ciarran Stott and Shannon Karaka, Married at First Sight contestant Sam Carraro, and Love Island’s Todd Elton.

The event previously made headlines because of an ugly spat Carraro got into with fellow MAFS stars Bryce Ruthven and Melissa Rawson. Rawson was reportedly injured after stepping in to diffuse tensions between Ruthven and Carraro, whose on-air grudge has evidently spilled over into real life.

Josh and brother Luke were two of The Block’s most controversial contestants due to their involvement in the cheating scandal that unfolded; despite that, they finished second, netting $530,000 for their renovation.

Image: Instagram

Maguire's ICAC testimony full of personal revelations

Daryl Maguire, former NSW Liberal MP and ex-secret-boyfriend of former Premier Gladys Berejiklian, faced ICAC on Thursday, as part of their inquiry into Berejiklian’s conduct while premier.

The inquiry started on Thursday morning with Assistant Commissioner Ruth McColl, SC, rejecting an application made by Berejiklian’s barristers to make part of the hearings private in anticipation of Maguire being questioned about his relationship with the former premier. Berejiklian’s team said that the proposed questions raised “personal privacy concerns of the highest order for my client” and could lead to intense media scrutiny, humiliation, and harm. Ms McColl felt that it was not in the public interest for her to make such an order.

Giving evidence remotely due to COVID-19 restrictions, Maguire informed ICAC that he was in a relationship with Berejiklian from 2015 until at least July 2018, when she asked him to quit politics following his evidence at another corruption inquiry. Despite this, Berejiklian confirmed at the ICAC in October of last year that the pair kept in touch until September.

Maguire’s testimony was full of revelations about the couple’s relationship. The former state MP admitted to attempting to get confidential information from state MPs about land in Cawdor in the Wollondilly Shire to assist his property developer friend William Leong. He said, “I asked their view on what they thought would happen.”

He agreed with former deputy premier John Barilaro’s statement that he was a “pain in the arse” in advocating for projects in his electorate. He also agreed that he was determined when advocating for millions of dollars in funding for two organisations in his electorate, the Australian Clay Target Association and the Riverina Conservatorium of Music. He admitted to lobbying the former state treasurer as well as Berejiklian about funding for these organisations.

In addition, Maguire admitted he was a “serial pest” when it came to lobbying sports minister Stuart Ayres and Berejiklian about funding for a multimillion-dollar proposal regarding the Australian Clay Target Association. Ayres eventually signed off on $40,000 for the club in 2016. He is not accused of wrongdoing. The association later received $5.5 million from the state government to upgrade its facilities.

Regarding his relationship with Berejiklian, Maguire said that he had a key to her home and that the couple contemplated marriage. In addition, he said they loved each other and had discussed having children. He told the ICAC that Berejiklian had not yet asked for her house key back.

Berejiklian is expected to face the inquiry on Friday. She denies wrongdoing and has said that history will show she was acting in the best interests of the people of NSW.

Image: Brook Mitchell/Getty Images, Joel Carrett - Pool/Getty Images

Furious neighbours unleash on backpacking revellers ignoring COVID-19 rules

Backpackers in a Bondi unit block continue to ignore social distancing rules put in place by COVID-19 by holding house parties just days after they were filmed drinking in their backyard until the early morning by angry neighbours.

The video of more than a dozen partygoers crammed into a backyard at the block of flats outraged many who are abiding by strict social distancing orders.

The two neighbouring buildings are separated by only a few metres, which means sound travels easily.

In footage taken just before 3pm, residents were heard yelling at their neighbours asking them to turn down their music.

One neighbour confided in The Daily Mail that things haven’t gotten any better between the neighbours.

“The photos that were shared last week, that was of a calm party, but it's gotten a lot of attention because everyone is trying to do the right thing at the minute,” she said.

“I've lived here for about 11 years now and over the past 18 months it's just gotten way worse.”

“I yelled out at them today because they were blasting music, but it doesn't do much at all most of the time, they'll be back partying in a few days.”

The woman wishes to remain anonymous and says she calls police at least once a week about the neighbours.

“It's worse at the minute because people are working from home and I know one girl said she was in a work meeting and was asked: ‘What's all that noise?’”

However, one resident of the party block argues that the group are being vilified unfairly.

“I think that (last week's party) was blown out of proportion. What you'll actually find is these places are really big and hold eight people each, so it seems like there's a lot of people partying but they're all residents,” she said.

“It's not like there were people coming from all over Bondi, it was just a mix of people in the apartments.

“There are signs up about noise but that's from New Year's Eve. I mean there can be a lot of noise, but I think it's not as bad as it's made out to be.”

What a child needs is love.”

She then said to Who.com.au: “They have made choices to be Scientologists.
