Why this co-host is 'peeved' after Lisa Wilkinson joined The Project

<p>All eyes were firmly focused on Carrie Bickmore when <a href="http://www.oversixty.com.au/news/news/2018/01/the-ratings-are-in-for-lisa-wilkinsons-debut-on-the-project/" target="_blank"><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Lisa Wilkinson swapped networks from Nine to Channel 10</span> </strong></a>to join <em>The Project</em>, and while these two big personalities seem to have come to a working agreement, reports suggest another member of the panel isn’t exactly pleased by the sudden arrival of the former <em>Today</em> host.</p> <p><iframe src="https://www.facebook.com/plugins/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Ftvweekmag%2Fphotos%2Fa.10152152631849684.1073741829.23766624683%2F10153162055104684%2F%3Ftype%3D3&amp;width=500" width="500" height="632" style="border: none; overflow: hidden;" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" allowtransparency="true"></iframe></p> <p><a href="https://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/" target="_blank"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>The Daily Telegraph</strong></em></span></a> reports part-time panellist Gorgi Coghlan, who has been at Channel 10 since 2010 and was the go-to fill-in for Bickmore over the last couple of years, is a little ‘peeved’ after Wilkinson’s dramatic arrival from the rival network.</p> <p>The reports quotes an ‘insider’ who suggests Wilkinson’s instant status as a ‘senior’ member of the project has prompted Coghlan to start considering her options with other networks.</p> <p>“Her manager reached out to a few people to put the feelers out to see if there were openings elsewhere,” the insider said.</p> <p>“There wasn’t really anything for someone at Gorgi’s level that fit her lifestyle. She wanted an afternoon or night gig and she did not want to leave her hometown of Melbourne.”</p> <p>What are your thoughts?</p>
