Qantas has a new (and very handsome) ambassador
<p>Qantas airlines have named their newest ambassador, adding into the ranks athletic Aussie, Hugh Jackman.</p>
<p>Jackman will join John Travolta and fellow Aussie and model, Miranda Kerr, as an ambassador for the airline, and is hoped to bring new customers as a result of his undeniable international appeal.</p>

<p>“I travel a lot and like all Aussies, I get a buzz whenever I see the familiar red tail and the kangaroo logo, no matter where I am in the world. Qantas is great airline with great people and represents the very best of our wonderful country,” the Wolverine star shared.</p>
<p>When he’s not working with airlines, Jackman is starring on screen and on stage, with his blockbuster, Pan, to release this year, and new show, Broadway to Oz, which is set to tour in November.</p>
<p>According to Jackman, international friends have nothing to complain about when whining that the flight to Australia is “too far.” It’s as simple as “getting on a plane, having a few glasses of wine, a meal, watching a movie, having a nap and you are there.”</p>
<p>“It’s absolutely worth it when you get there. It’s Australia. Just go!”</p>
<p>We have to admit, we’re inclined to agree.</p>
