Australia’s best airport announced – can you guess which one it is?

<p><a href="http://www.worldairportawards.com/Awards/world_airport_rating.html" target="_blank"><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Skytrax</span></strong></a> <a href="http://www.worldairportawards.com/Awards/world_airport_rating.html" target="_blank"></a>has revealed its “World’s Top 100 Airports 2018” rankings, one of the most prestigious aviation honours voted on by international flyers from around the world.</p> <p>Australia just made the top 20, with Sydney coming in at 20th (up three spots from last year) overtaking Brisbane, which came in at 22nd (down from 16 last year), as the country’s best.</p> <p>Melbourne came in third at 27 (up three spots), with its recently-opened Terminal 4 named the best low-cost terminal in the world.</p> <p>Down five spots from last year, the Gold Coast came in at 55th, while Perth jumped an impressive 12 spots to come in at 59th – the second biggest improvement in the world after Rome Fiumicino.</p> <p>The last of the Australian airports, Adelaide was ranked at 78th, five spots lower than last year and its worst ranking in recent years.</p> <p>“We congratulate Sydney Airport for their success in winning this important customer satisfaction award for 2018, amidst some serious competition particularly from airports in Australia,” Skytrax CEO Edward Plaisted said. “It demonstrates how much Sydney Airport continues to improve standards of customer service to be recognised as the Best Airport in the Australia/Pacific region.”</p> <p>Elsewhere in the world, Singapore’s Changi Airport retained its position at number one for the sixth year in a row.</p> <p><strong>World’s top 10 airports for 2018</strong></p> <ol> <li>Singapore Changi</li> <li>Incheon</li> <li>Tokyo Haneda</li> <li>Hong Kong</li> <li>Doha Hamad</li> <li>Munich</li> <li>Centrair Nagoya</li> <li>London Heathrow</li> <li>Zurich</li> <li>Frankfurt</li> </ol> <p>Tell us in the comments below, how many of these airports have you visited?
