What happened to the cast of Roseanne?

<p>It’s been 20 years since hit TV sitcom Roseanne premiered its final episode.</p> <p>And now it’s official, US network ABC have announced the comedy is making a comeback in 2018, with most of the original cast members returning to reprise their roles for the remake.</p> <p><img width="454" height="255" src="http://fm.cnbc.com/applications/cnbc.com/resources/img/editorial/2017/05/17/104474775-GettyImages-93779393.530x298.jpg?v=1495004616" alt="'The Monday Thru Friday Show' - Season One - 1/24/89, Roseanne (Roseanne Barr) and Dan (John Goodman) disagree about where to spend a romantic 15th anniversary." style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"/></p> <p>The sitcom, which ran from 1988 to 1997, starred Roseanne Barr and John Goodman. So what have our favourite stars been up to for the last 20 years? Picture: Michael Boardman" style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"/></p> <p>After Roseanne wrapped, Barr hosted The Roseanne Show, a quirky talk-show, starred in her own reality show Roseanne’s Nuts, profiling her life living on a Hawaiian macadamia farm, and tried to run for president in 2012. She also was a judge on   Last Comic Standing, which tests out stand-up comedy talent. Now 63, Barr has made headlines over the years due to her dramatic weight fluctuations.</p> <p><strong>John Goodman (plays Dan Conner)</strong></p> <p><img width="389" height="598" src="http://cdn.newsapi.com.au/image/v1/05ae4269ebe4b13fbdf34da5d663761a" alt="John Goodman shows off his much slimmer frame in 2017. Picture: Jamie McCarthy" style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"/><br /> <br /> Since the show ended, Goodman has become a well-known actor starring in many Hollywood films such as The Big Lebowski, 10 Cloverfield Lane and Kong: Skull Island. Picture: Brian Ach" style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"/></p> <p>Alicia ‘Lecy’ Goranson, the original resentful older sister, left the series in season four to continue her education. She was replaced by lookalike Sarah Chalke.</p> <p>Goranson struggled to find consistent work as an actor after the show, appearing in a number of small supporting roles. Canadian actor Chalke has enjoyed a good career in TV since Roseanne, playing Dr. Elliot Reid on Scrubs and Stella Zinman on sitcom How I Met Your Mother.</p> <p><strong>Michael Fishman (DJ Conner)</strong></p> <p><img width="326" height="245" src="http://cdn.newsapi.com.au/image/v1/28990196ad928a16e23eba8d9c7e1ea1" alt="Michael Fishman is all grown up. She’s also executive producer and co-host of US chat show The Talk.</p>
