Famous paintings redone with cartoons
The Design Crowd community may have too much time on their hands it seems, as they have managed to combine some of the world’s most famous artworks with some of the best-known modern day cartoon characters. The result is a mish mash of old and new and shows a clashing of cultures at its best.
Using instantly recognisable artworks such as the Birth of Venus, The Scream, and the Mona Lisa meant that the team could have some fun by adding in current day characters such as the Pink Panther, Homer Simpson, Dumbo the Elephant, and even Lois and Stewie from Family Guy.
I wonder what Da Vinci would have to say about the entire cast of the Simpson’s featuring in his Last Supper painting?
