Is this the world’s first unbreakable phone?

Is this the world’s first unbreakable phone?

It would appear that Samsung’s latest phone (S6 Edge – due to be released in Australia this week) might just be pretty close to unbreakable.

This video of a Korean user repeatedly throwing the phone against a hard floor shows just how tough the “Gorilla Glass” 4 casing is.

The Gorilla Glass was developed by a crack team of scientists at Corning, and the spiel on the company's website assures us that thousands of hours of tests were performed “to understand how and why glass breaks when dropped”.
