Amazing images from Vivid Sydney as the harbour becomes a playground of light

The city of Sydney has once again been transformed for the annual Vivid festival, which sees everyday buildings, parks, and streets transformed into stunning light installations. This year, over 60 light installations have changed the faces of nine regions around Sydney, including the iconic Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge.

There are also beautiful hubs of sound and light at Circular Quay, Walsh Bay, Martin Place, The Rocks, and Darling Harbour, with interactive technology encouraging visitors to completely immerse themselves in the festival.

Vivid runs until the June 8, and if you’re anywhere near Sydney, it’s definitely worth the trip.
