Naomi Osaka’s shocking announcement that has stunned everyone
The 21-year-old tennis star who just took out the Australian Open, Naomi Osaka, has shocked the tennis world by announcing she will no longer be working with her coach just weeks after winning the grand slam in Melbourne Park.
The star just recently added her AUS Open Championship to her first Grand Slam at the US Open last year and on Tuesday announced through Twitter she has split from her coach Sascha Bajin.
Osaka sent shockwaves throughout the tennis world when she wrote she would be parting with Bajin.
Hey everyone, I will no longer be working together with Sascha. I thank him for his work and wish him all the best in the future.

The tennis star's former coach also took to Twitter to comment on the split.
Thank you Naomi 🙏🏽 I wish you nothing but the best as well. What a ride that was. Thank you for letting me be part of this.

Osaka jumped to the top of the tennis ladder in the last year, a far cry from her former position at 72nd in the world.
She became the first Asian to hold the top ranking after beating Czech Petra Kvitova in a close final in Australia. Last year she memorably beat the beloved Serena Williams at the US Open women's final, earning thousands of fans for her talent and graceful win.
Osaka has firmly established herself as a force to be reckoned with after taking out a second Grand Slam and becoming the world number one.
Her stunning rise to the top has made it all the more confusing for tennis fans when they became aware of the split.
Concerned supporters of Osaka took to Twitter to discuss the matter.
“Is February 11 in Japan the same as April 1 in Germany?” one user joked.
“All the best to him but this is quite a shocker. Hope everything is okay,” another fan said to the star.
People also speculated on the split.
“What? Something had to have happened. You two were perfect for each other,” a concerned Twitter user wrote.
WTF? How is this even actually true. Unbelievable. Big Sascha is out in the Osaka camp after coaching her to back to back slams. Whhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaat. https://t.co/8sQDmOdxnP
