Man punches bear in the face to save his dogs

Man punches bear in the face to save his dogs

A 73-year-old man has punched a black bear in the face when it threatened his dogs. Carl Moore, who lives near Sacramento in California, reported that the bear was outside his home, threatening his beloved dogs. So he punched it.

Well, that wasn’t the first thing he did. Sensibly, Moore first “raised both hands in the air and I cussed at him, ‘Rrraaa! Get out of here, you bastard,’” he told CBS Sacramento. When attempting to intimidate the bear didn’t work, Moore ran at the animal and landed a punch right on the bear’s face.

Witnesses corroborated Moore’s account, confirming the bear was around five-and-a-half-feet tall, and probably weighed around 136 kilograms.
