Royal insiders say Donald Trump has been “bowled over” by the British Royal Family while on his two-day trip in the UK.
Before officially departing from his two-day state visit to the UK, the US President and his wife, Melania Trump, posed for one last official photo alongside Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles.
According to 9Honey, Mr Trump told the Monarch: “It was a great honour to be with you.”
He then gushed to reporters about Her Majesty to the White House Press Pool by saying she was a “Great woman. Great woman.”
Trump arrived in London on Monday and visited Buckingham Palace the same evening as a guest of honour at the State Banquet.
Both the President and First Lady Melania repaid the favour on Tuesday night by hosting a State Dinner at the US Embassy.
Before departing, Mr Trump and Melania joined the royals again along with other world leaders to mark the 75th anniversary of D-Day – the Normandy landings of WWII.
Trump will jet off to his golf club in Ireland before returning back to Washington.
