Australia crowned most expensive country for goods and services
A survey by Deutsche Bank has shown the power of the US dollar around the globe, and Australia has once again been crowned the most expensive country in which to live when looking at goods and services.
The study compared the price of equal products and services in different countries, looking at everything from clothing and technology to food and insurance. Some good news – the figures have gone down since last year’s survey, which is a continuing trend.
Australia only narrowly beat out New Zealand for the crown. It should be pointed out that the study doesn’t take into account the prices of housing, rent or minimum wage.
