Royal photo album released: Monaco twins celebrate their 4th birthday
Prince Albert and Princess Charlene of Monaco are celebrating an exciting milestone in their family, the fourth birthday of their adorable twins.
To celebrate the birthday of Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques, Albert and Charlene hosted a superhero-themed birthday bash.
Guests of the elaborate party, which took place on the grounds of the Palace of Monaco, enjoyed a visit from very special guests, including Spider-Man and Monaco’s Fire Department.
The twins’ 40-year-old mum and former Olympic swimmer, Charlene, shared an adorable photo album from the day on her Instagram account.
The photos of the special day give fans a rare glimpse into the royal family’s private life.
In one snap shared to social media, Gabriella and Jacques can be seen enjoying a ride in the fire truck’s towering crane on the grounds of the palace.
In another photo, the twins are seen standing next to their cake as they are surrounded by their friends.
"Such fun at our party! Thank you to our firemen for the surprise visit! Our true heroes," Princess Charlene wrote.
This isn’t the first themed party the royal twins have enjoyed.
For their second birthday, Albert and Charlene planned a safari-themed party and last year they embraced a museum theme.
Albert, who is the son of Hollywood actress turned royalty Princess Grace of Monaco, admitted the twins are “very active, very playful, absolutely adorable , lots of fun and a lot of work”.
He said: “Jacques is very reserved. He is sure of himself, but he likes to take his time doing things, to observe them, and no one can force him to do anything. Gabriella, for her part, is not afraid of anything. With her it is always full steam ahead!"
Prince Jacques will inherit the throne despite his twin sister being older than him.
The twins also have two half-siblings from Albert’s previous relationships, Jasmine Grace Grimaldi, 26 and Alexandre Coste, 15.
