Carrie Bickmore's very honest account of what life is like with a one-month old baby

The Projectย star Carrie Bickmore has revealed what life has been like since the birth of her new baby, Adelaide.

Bickmore shared an Instagram post documenting what the previous month has entailed, which included a trip to the hospital with mastitis and experiencing broken sleep.

The caption reads:

"1 MONTH OLD TODAY!!
Sleep ๐Ÿ‘Ž
Boobtime ๐Ÿ‘
Googling โ€˜what is reflux at 3am?โ€™ ๐Ÿ‘
Late night pram walks ๐Ÿ‘
Cuddles ๐Ÿ‘
Arguments ๐Ÿ‘
Conflicting advice given ๐Ÿ‘
Struggle with existing 3 year old ๐Ÿ‘
Hours spent staring at Adelaide ๐Ÿ‘
Feeling overwhelmed ๐Ÿ‘
Feeling like itโ€™s all going to be ok ๐Ÿ‘
Eating meals with 1 hand ๐Ÿ‘
Witching hour is witching 4 hours ๐Ÿ‘
Tears of happiness ๐Ÿ‘
Tears of exhaustion ๐Ÿ‘
Surviving on 4 hours broken sleep ๐Ÿ‘
A trip back to hospital with mastitis ๐Ÿ‘
Getting 5 mins to myself ๐Ÿ‘Ž
Bursting with love and gratitude ๐Ÿ‘

Many mums have rallied around her in the comments, with one commenter lamenting that she knows the feeling all too well.

โ€˜Ohh I know the feeling and I only have one. Mum life is a much harder gig than anticipated.โ€

โ€œSounds like heaven and hell wrapped up in oneโ€ said one commenter.

With this being Bickmoreโ€™s third child, looking after three year old Evie and 11-year-old Oliver hasnโ€™t been an easy task, especially with newborn Adelaide.

However, it doesnโ€™t appear that the siblings seem to mind, with Bickmore sharing the snap saying "No such thing as personal space for Adelaide!!".

The mother of three confessed when she leftย The Projectย that she was โ€œso excited and (slightly terrified!!)โ€ to be having a third child, but it seems like theย family of fiveย are adjusting well to their new addition.

Do you remember what it was like in the first month of having your children? Was it as difficult as Carrie described? Let us know in the comments.
