Pink snaps back at parenting police with witty message

Pink doesn’t have time for those who critically analyse her parenting skills.

Taking to Instagram, the pop star shared a photo of her son Jameson Moon Hart indulging in chocolate, and the mother-of-two paired it with a witty caption.

“Chocolate is good for babies, right?” she wrote. “Help me Instagram, we can’t possibly parent without you.”

The sarcastic comment comes after Pink’s husband Carey hart posted a photo of himself and Jameson taking a ride on a dirt bike.

Hart, who posted the photo three days ago, had already predicted the amount of backlash he was going to receive, as he wrote in the caption: “Don’t worry parent police, I’m a professional. #BeADadNotAFad.”

Still, his followers took to the comment section to criticise Hart, saying that the 23-month-old wasn’t adequately protected, and the activity wasn’t age appropriate.

“Your face and body protected but his isn’t,” wrote one person, with others agreeing to the sentiment, saying that Jameson should have been provided with more than a helmet.

“Nice eye protection for the kid,” said another.

Hart responded to the backlash by telling them to “move along".

But despite the onslaught of negative comments, there were many positive ones as they praised the parents for making sure their children Jameson and 7-year-old daughter Willow Sage Hart grow up with fond memories.

“I wish my dad was like you when I was young,” wrote one follower. “You can’t wrap them in cotton wool all the time and you’re a professional. Don’t stop being an awesome dad.”

Another person wrote: “I took my kids riding at that age. They loved it and wanted to go as fast as possible. As you said, ‘You are a professional’. Screw everyone else, your son is having a blast and you are making memories.”
