You won't believe this pilot's hilarious in-flight announcement

A pilot on a low-cost European airline has become a social media sensation after making a series of hilarious in-flight announcements to entertain passengers.

”Welcome aboard, you’ll fly this service direct to the beautiful sunny island of Palma de Majorca,” the pilot said despite the fact they were flying to Exeter in southwest England.

“Oh, sorry, no, my fault, I’ve got the wrong day again. That’s tomorrow. This evening — wait for it, it is even more exciting — we are going to Exeter.”

But the jokes didn’t stop there.

“We’ve been looking at the maps, hopefully we have got the map the right way around. We think we should head right after take off.

“Luckily for you lot I’m not doing anymore driving this evening. I’ve done my flying for the day — it wasn’t pretty so I’m going to refrain from that for the rest of the evening.

“I’m going to hand the reins over to the man himself, my colleague on the right hand side, his name is Steve Moore... He’s just been telling me actually on the way down that he hasn’t yet had a bad landing in his entire career so lots to look forward to.”

He even made jokes about the cabin crew.

“Anyway ladies and gents, you are not here because you need to get to the UK. You are here because you’ve done your research and you’ve worked out that here at Flybe, we pride ourselves on employing some of the very finest cabin crew this industry has to offer. I’m sorry to say they are all on annual leave,” he quipped as the cabin erupted with laughter.
