Son embarrasses mum with hilarious sign at airport
A mum returning home from a business trip was left red-faced by the hilarious welcome sign her young son was holding as he greeted her at the airport.
US woman Barbara Nielsen was arriving back home to Oklahoma after a week away for work.
Her husband Brandon and son Daimen were at the airport to pick her up, but young Daimen had a surprise in store for mum, greeting her with a large cardboard sign which said: “Welcome home from prison mom”.
Barbara posted a photo on Facebook of Daimen smiling cheekily as he held the side.
But Barbara knew exactly who the culprit was behind the embarrassing sign – her husband.
She caption the photo: “Brandon is a jerk, lol. This is the sign Daimen was holding when I got off the plane.”
The post was shared by a friend, who wrote: “So a friend was gone for a week on BUSINESS and her husband made this sign for their son to hold to welcome mom back! I died laughing.”
The image has since gone viral, with more than 132,000 shares and 76,000 reactions and growing.
