Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's "dangerous" honeymoon destination

Now that the royal wedding is done and dusted, the question on everyone’s lips is where the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are headed on their honeymoon?

And the answer is a little out of left field.

Nine.com.au reports Prince Harry and Megan Markle are said to head to Namibia, a sparsely populated country on Africa’s west coast.

The newlyweds will stay at the soon-to-open Hoanib Valley Camp in Kaokoland, which is roughly four hours away from the nearest town, surrounded by mountains, dunes and desert.

While we’re sure the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be well looked after, the British Foreign Office’s advice for travellers headed to Namibia is full of warnings, noting the area is ridden with street crime and not safe to be in at night.

What are your thoughts? Are you surprised they’re headed to Namibia?
