Teenager’s heartbreaking note to driver after twin sister killed in car crash

After losing her twin sister in a tragic car accident in Queensland, Georgia Dixson delivered an emotional message to the driver of the car.

On Tuesday, Jade Dixson was sitting in the passenger seat of a red Hyundai when the car came off the road, flipped and then crashed into a tree.

Despite motorists frantically trying to help her, the talented footballer sadly passed away on her way to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.

Jade’s friend, Adrian Fraser, was driving the car and remains in hospital in a critical condition.

Georgia reached out to Adrian on social media as he continues to fight for his life.

"We are always here for you," Georgia wrote, according to reports in the Sunshine Coast Daily.

"You're very strong and you will get through this, don't worry about what people say. Jade loved you very much and she wouldn't want you to be angry at yourself."

She added, "Stay strong buddy… love you."

Jade has been described by family and friends as a talented, bright and bubbly young woman who had a passion for football.

President of the Woombye Snakes Football Club Andy Kinden said the news of the car crash was met with a “heavy heart”.

"Two of the Woombye Snakes much-loved family were involved in a car accident last night," his Facebook post read.

"Adrian Fraser has been flown to Brisbane in intensive care and very sadly Jade Dixson has passed away.

"Jade has been a stalwart at the Snakes since starting as a Junior and is survived by our club legends Mark, Julie, Josh, Shane and of course, her twin sister Georgia.

"Our thoughts are with both families during this very sad time."

Police are investigating the circumstances which led to the crash.
