Cruise liner’s new $59 million sundeck lifted into place

Cunard’s Queen Victoria is one of the most spectacular vessels on the high seas, and it’s about to get even better thanks to a decadent, $59 million refurbishment.

The cruise line released images (you can view in the gallery above) of the work which will result in a stunning lido sun deck being installed among a range of luxury features.

It also released the below video, to give you an idea of all the construction that needs to be done when you’re giving a luxury cruise liner a multimillion-dollar facelift.

The refurbishment is taking place at the Fincantieri Shipyard in Palermo, Italy.
