Ray Hadley offloading stunning Dural home

Ray Hadley is selling his stunning acreage, but he doesn’t plan on giving it up easily.

The 2GB morning radio host’s home has five bedrooms, accommodation for 10 cars and two swimming pools but comes with a hefty price expectation that is “only” in the $7 million range.

“My children have moved on and the property deserves to have a family living there, not just two people,” Hadley said.

“As we head towards the next stage of our lives we’ll divide our time between Sydney and the Gold Coast, although my three grandchildren will see me concentrate on Sydney for the time being.”

Hadley has lived in the mesmerising two hectare Dural lot since the mid 1990’s.

The home has incredible features, including a car barn as well as a garage, two swimming pools and the option of adding a place for animals, as there are more than enough paddocks that are perfect for horses or alpacas.

Dural has become the ideal place to live because of its proximity to the city while still offering a rural way of living.

REA Group chief economist Nerida Conisbee says buyer demand in Dural skyrocketed in 2020.

“It appears that during COVID-19, affordability may be of less importance to property buyers … and that lifestyle factors are becoming more important,” Conisbee said.

LJ Hooker Dural agent Peter Collusso listed the home, saying: “This is a rare opportunity to secure an unrivalled acreage in Dural’s blue ribbon precinct,” he said.
