We can’t wait to see this movie about “two raging grannies” challenging Wall Street
It’s official, we’ve found our new heroes. Go home, Helen Mirren. Thanks for coming, Ian McKellen. Today, we’re all about Shirley Morrison and Hinda Kipnis, the stars of a new documentary called Two Raging Grannies.
So what makes these two women, aged 92 and 85 respectively, so heroic? Well, they’re on a mission to challenge the idea that endless economic growth is exactly what the world needs. Together, these two determined grandmas embark on a cross-country road trip to find answers in the most direct ways they can think of – calling the World Bank, and infiltrating a Wall Street dinner for the richest of the rich being just two examples.
