The adorable moment two baby orangutans meet after being rescued

Budi, the baby orangutan who has spent most of his short life trapped inside a chicken cage, has met a fellow orangutan for the first time.

A British charity discovered a starving and weak Budi in Borneo and he’s since made a remarkable recovery under the care of International Animal Rescue.

Budi has now been introduced to another adorable baby orangutan called, Jemmi, who’s also been in the care of International Animal Rescue.

The charity hopes their newfound friendship will mean they become less dependent on “human babysitters” and will one day be ready to return back to the wild.
