Turia Pitt welcomes her first child
Burns survivor Turia Pitt and her fiance Michael Hoskin have welcomed their first child, a boy named Hakavai Hoskin.
The activist, humanitarian, athlete and author announced her son's arrival in her e-newsletter today.
The 30-year-old new mum shared two sweet photos of her baby boy, writing: 'We'll be in this little newborn bubble for a few weeks but we wanted to pop our heads out for a moment to share the news directly with you.”
Turia and Michael, who have been together since 2009, first shared their joyous baby news in an interview on Channel Nine’s 60 Minutes in June.
Two months later, the couple revealed they were expecting a boy.
Earlier this week, she showed off her huge baby bump in a new Instagram post while urging her newborn to hurry up, writing: “C'mon mate, #wherethebloodyhellareya?!.”.
