The HUGE clue Duchess Meghan is about to give birth any day

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expecting their first child any day now, but it is not the first royal baby to arrive in recent years.

Through the birth of Prince George, 5, Princess Charlotte, 3, Prince Louis, 11 months, the media, fans and royal insiders have picked up on the telltale signs that appear when a royal member is about to give birth.

A raft of yellow signs are soon to appear in a hospital near Windsor, which will prohibit cars from loading, stopping or waiting.

Although traffic conditions are not exactly newsworthy anywhere, these bright yellow notices in southwest London are signs that the official countdown to the royal baby is nearing its final days.

While reports have not confirmed where the Duchess of Sussex will give birth, there are thoughts the renowned AUD$13,700 Lindo Wing may be sacrificed for a hospital closer to the couple’s new abode, Frogmore cottage.

Much closer to the couples new home is the Princess Margaret Hospital, King Edward VII Hospital or Frimley Park Hospital in Surrey where the Countess of Wessex had her two children.

Prince Harry said he is “very excited” about the birth of his first child, due to arrive soon while attending an even raising money to support service men and women and their families.

“Of course I am excited, very excited,” the father-to-be replied, according to both the Daily Mail and People magazine.

The hours ahead of a royal birth run like clockwork and traditionally, journalists from all across the globe rush for the best spot near the hospital the tot is due to be born.

While the Duchess of Cambridge appeared for the media and fans outside the hospital doors, immaculately dressed and glowing within hours of giving birth to her first three children – there is a chance the Duchess of Sussex may opt for a few extra days in her bed recovering.

So, although everyone is sweating in anticipation to see the first baby Sussex, we may have to wait longer than we did with Duchess Kate.

The expecting couple may also choose to release an adorable image of their newborn in a media release and avoid the cameras altogether – which judging by Duchess Meghan’s break on traditional royal life, is not such an outrageous thought.

While rumours continue to swirl around the imminent arrival of the first baby from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, royal fans, commentators and the media sit waiting very impatiently.
