Terribly thin elephant rescued and enjoying freedom

A 70-year-old elephant is finally free from Thailand’s tourist industry. Noi Nah, affectionately known as the grandmother of the Elephant Nature Park rescue and rehabilitation centre, was rescued last month. She was thin, worn and distrustful of humans. But one month later, this elderly elephant looks completely different. Noi Nah is now looking healthier than ever and playing in the pond every chance she gets. It’s truly amazing what love and tenderness can do to an animal’s welfare, even when it comes later in life.
