In the wake of England's victory over Australia in the World Cup semi-finals, both Prince William and King Charles have sent sweet and heartfelt messages to the Matildas and their millions of fans.
The monarch, Queen, and Prince of Wales have lauded the Lionesses for their performance in the semi-final conquest, with the resounding 3-1 victory at Stadium Australia paving the way for a thrilling showdown against Spain in the upcoming World Cup final set to take place on Sunday.

Sharing his reflections on the occasion, Prince William took to platform X (formerly Twitter), writing, "What a phenomenal performance from the @Lionesses – on to the final! Commiserations to @TheMatildas, you've played brilliantly and been fantastic co-hosts of this World Cup. W."
