Nine puppies rescued from burning inferno

Nine puppies and a dog have been rescued from a ravenous fire in Greater Sydney.

NSW Fire and Rescue were called to a house fire on Callisto St, in Cranebrook on Friday morning.

When fire crews arrived, the home was completely in flames.

“The fire is through the roof of the home,” NSW Fire and Rescue said in a statement.

Thankfully, not all was lost as the crew managed to save nine puppies and a dog before the roof collapsed,

One person had to undergo treatment for smoke inhalation by paramedics at the scene.

The cause of the fire is not yet known, however investigations are continuing.
