Musicians serenade passengers stuck on a plane for six hours
Being stuck in an aeroplane cabin is a tricky situation. Not only are you dealing with an incubator of stress and anxiety, but it can be incredibly boring. However, for one lucky flight grounded in Chicago, the experience was a rather pleasant one.
Frustrated airline passengers were treated to an impromptu concert by a Haitian band while they were stuck on a plane for six hours.
Lakou Mizik is a collection of multi-cultural musicians who formed a band in the wake the earthquakes in Haiti, and were touring North America. According to their Facebook page, Lakou Mizik blends "Troubadou, Vodou, Rara and Rap into a deeply danceable bouyon of modern roots music."
The result is quite a lively, yet authentically tropical beat. The video is sure to put a smile on your face.
