Mother rabbit fights giant snake to save her babies
So much for rabbits being a prey animal: video footage has emerged of a wild rabbit fighting a large, black rat snake, defending her young from its reptilian grasp.
Throughout the footage, posted by Ramakanth Peechara, children can be heard rallying in support of the brave rabbit, shouting, “Go, Mr. Bunny! Kill that snake!” Taking no notice of having been called, “mister” Mother rabbit follows after the newly discouraged predator, relentlessly biting it and successfully chasing it away from her kin.
