Miranda Kerr receives police warning after quarantine breach

Supermodel Miranda Kerr was issued an official warning from NSW Police, after she left her Hunter Valley residence while under a mandatory 14-day quarantine period.

The 37-year-old had been allowed by health officials to self-isolate at her rural Rothbury property after she came back from Los Angeles in October.

“Under the terms of an approved NSW Health exemption, she was allowed to leave the property for a specific purpose,” NSW Police said in a statement to 7NEWS.com.au.

The model reportedly left her residence for a “family matter”.

The Daily Telegraph alleged the celebrity went to visit a sick relative in palliative care.

Officers went to speak with Kerr on October 5, where she was meant to be self-isolating.

However, police were allegedly unable to find her.

“The woman was required to complete a notification process prior to leaving the address, however, the process was not followed and she was issued with a warning,” NSW Police added.

Kerr is married to billionaire Snapchat founder Evan Spiegel and runs multi-million dollar skincare company Kora Organics.

She was not fined over the breach.

NSW Police said there had been no other issues or breaches that were detected for the duration of the 14-day self-isolation period.
