Luxury mansion in Texas about to fall off a cliff?
A luxury mansion in Texas is on the verge of collapsing into Lake Whitney, some 22 metres below. The fears have been brought on by a massive crack in the cliff upon which the house sits.
Neighbours of the house have reported the crack getting wider and deeper, perhaps worsened by recent rains.
Last year, the house next door had to be burned down before it crumbled into the lake as the cliff was disappearing from underneath it. Authorities condemned the house after part of it had been left dangling off the side of the cliff.
There’s no word yet on what the fate of the remaining house will be.
