Lisa Curry and new husband “can’t wait” for more grandkids
She became a grandmother for the first time this year, and now Lisa Curry has revealed she’s excited for her family to expand with more little ones.
Recently tying the knot with Mark Tabone, the newly married couple have high hopes of expanding their growing family.
“We can’t wait for lots of grandkids,” Lisa told New Idea.
The former Olympic swimmer’s eldest daughter Morgan, with ironman Grant Kenny, gave birth to baby boy Flynn, her first child with husband Ryan Gruell, in March.
At the time, Lisa shared on Instagram, “My beautiful baby made this beautiful baby. Congratulations @morgangruell and Ryan for this little bundle of joy, even though he sleeps most of the time still!”
While the 56-year-old has declared she does not wish to have any more children of her own, Lisa admits the thought did cross her mind ever since she married her new husband Mark recently.
“We are just so getting to enjoy our lives and our kids, and their extended family. We wondered what a child of our own would look like, but we have both been there and done that,” the swimming champ explained.
In the meantime, Lisa and her new husband Mark have now returned from their extravagant honeymoon around the world, settling into married life back home on their 25-hectare property on the Sunshine Coast hinterland in Queensland.
A very smitten Lisa admitted, “Mark is a very romantic man and makes every day fun.”
She gushingly added, “I love when he calls me ‘my wife’. It puts a smile on my face every time.”
