Koala throws tantrum and cries after friend kicks it out of tree
Two koalas have been caught on camera brawling over prime position on a tree that we assume has the tastiest gum tree leaves. Like most fighting, it’s not a pretty sight – and the losing koala’s yelps and cries does not make for pleasant listening.
The video was uploaded by Alicia Alexander who says there was a good ending as the bullied koala won back his claim on the tree by nightfall.
She writes: “Welcome to a glimpse of what it is like living amongst a wild koala population during mating season! Mating and territory fighting is a regular occurrence during this time of season, and their sounds are terrifying!”
