These sand cats look like kittens forever

These sand cats are seemingly immortal: they retain their kitten-like appearance into adulthood and can survive temperatures from -5 to 52 degrees Celsius. But unfortunately, in reality these felines are endangered due to hunting and illegal pet trade in their habitats of North Africa, Arabia, Central Asia, and Pakistan.

So while they’re unsuitable to have as pets, that won’t stop us from gushing over how cute they are in these photos.
