Hilarious questions people asked librarians before Google

Remember the days before the internet? Long before you could type any question into Google, people used to turn to librarians as a source of knowledge. None know this better than the people who worked at New York Public Library.

Those who worked at the iconic library would assist hundreds of New Yorkers with their top questions. And, when they couldn’t help resolve an issue right away, they would write them down.

The New York Public Library has released some of the questions librarians kept record in the 1940s to the 1980s. Take a look at the gallery for our funny favourites.
