Jaywalking goats stop traffic

Melbourne commuters who were late to work yesterday had a pretty unique excuse as a herd of goats strolled onto the busy Princes Freeway, kidding around with no regard for the road rules.

The family of four goats was caught on camera near Ring Road. VicRoads immediately tweeted photos and advised motorists to slow down and approach with caution.

This usually busy section of highway was shut down until road workers were sent to the scene and rounded up the herd of goats.
