Fox caught sneaking around Fire Control Centre in Narrabri

A little fox was caught sneaking around a Fire Control Centre in NSW’s Narrabri – thought to be on the look out for snacks.

While staff were out overseeing a fire in the Pilliga East State Forest, the fox made his appearance at the control centre.

The fox made a beeline for a rubbish bin before searching the room high and low, hopping up on desks and chairs, according to the NSWRFS post on Facebook following the visit.

Inspector David Stimson said: “The fox appeared very friendly and could be approached and was happy to pose for several photos before disappearing into the night.”
