Fifi Box's sweet party for daughter Trixie: "What a beautiful idea"
Australian radio and television personality Fifi Box has thrown a special celebratory party for her daughter Trixie, as she prepares to welcome a little sister.
The 42-year-old took to Instagram to share photos of Trixie and her friends taking part in a tea party, captioning the images, “We had a beautiful morning celebrating Trixie about to become a big sister, only a few weeks left of having mummy all to herself!”
The six-year-old opted for a sparkly dress covered in sequins as she ate scones and lollies with her closest group of friends.
“What a beautiful idea to keep some limelight on the big sister,” wrote one person.
“This is so gorgeous, what a good mama you are,” said another.
The presenter used IVF to fall pregnant for the second time as she shared a video in February announcing the exciting news. In the post, Box told her legion of fans that the upcoming baby was a “much wanted and longed for sibling for a very excited big sister.”
She also took some time to mention those who are struggling with fertility issues, saying that “it is not lost on me that I am one of the lucky ones”.
Box shares daughter Trixie with her former partner Grant Kenny. The two split in 2012.
