Duchess Camilla speaks out on Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan’s departure

Duchess Camilla has spoken out on Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan’s departure from their senior royal roles.

The Duchess of Cornwall was visiting Prospect Hospice in Swindon on Monday when ITV News royal editor Chris Ship asked about her stepson and daughter-in-law.

“Will you miss Harry and Meghan?” the reporter asked.

Duchess Camilla paused before responding, “Hmm. Course.”

Despite being involved in the Privy Council of the United Kingdom, Duchess Camilla was not part of the Sandringham Summit that the Queen held last week to discuss the Sussexes’ future.

Duchess Camilla’s husband Prince Charles will “still continue to offer private financial support” to Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan, according to royal reporter Omid Scobie.

The majority of Prince Charles’ income comes from the Duchy of Cornwall, a private estate exempt from corporation tax.
