Meet the blind Jack Russel and his best friend who acts as his eyes

Meet Glenn, the Jack Russel, and his best friend Buzz, a Staffordshire bull terrier. The pair were rescued from a sea tunnel in Hartlepool, England last month, and are currently in the care of the Stray Aid rescue centre in Coxhoe, County Durham. Oh, and one more thing – Glenn is completely blind.

The pair are inseparable. According to Stray Aid, Buzz acts as Glenn’s guide, helping him find his bed and food, and even pushing him toward the right bowl if he’s eating from the wrong one. According to Stay Aid supervisor Diane Humphrey, “Glenn gets his confidence from Buzz, and if they were separated even for a few minutes they both bark and become distressed, so they would need to have a loving home together.” As such, the centre is only considering rehousing the best buddies together.
