Bindi Irwin’s touching tribute to Steve on his birthday
Bindi Irwin has posted a touching tribute to her father Steve Irwin on what would have been his 55th birthday.
The 18-year-old shared a photo of Steve with a cockatoo on Instagram today with the caption: “Always in our hearts”.
Bindi was only eight-years-old when the renowned “Crocodile Hunter” was killed by a stingray barb while filming an underwater documentary film in 2006.
Last week, Bindi’s younger brother Robert followed in his father’s footsteps with a special appearance on the US talk show, The Tonight Show. Just like his father, Robert introduced the now host Jimmy Fallon to a number of wild animals.
The resemblance between father and son was striking with Fallon observing, “This is so cool to see you. You’re actually… you’re your dad!”
